Grow to GiveJun 18, 2022
Did you know that there are over 50,000 people in the Logan Region that require daily food assistance?
It's true and we are looking to do something about it.
By creating a network of charity farms we have the opportunity to create food all year round to feed those in need.
Our first farm for the Logan Region is planned for Loganlea State High School, were students will have the opportunity to see how farms work, sow, harvest, pack, and give produce grown to those in need.
We have partnered with CityStudio, Griffith University and Loganlea State High School to deliver this project and all produce will be donated to Students in need, OzHarvest and Meals on Wheels.
This farm is in fundraising phase of development. Businesses can help fund this farm by sponsoring a charity bed for a year with a year of recognition. You can find out more here - https://www.mfp.org.au/sponsor-a-bed
Those that are interested in supporting climate initiatives can Shout the value of a Coffee once a month and help grow food for those in need in our Coffee for Change program. - https://www.mfp.org.au/coffeeforchange
Stay tuned for further developments as we grow.
