Dr. Carol Richards will be joining our event to give a compelling and informal speech on food insecurity as we continue to tackle such a cause and make a difference in the Brisbane community.
Dr. Carol, is a Senior Lecturer, QUT Business School, and co-founder of the Brisbane Fair Food Alliance. She researches and publishes on the topics of food security, food waste, supermarkets, and food system governance. In addition to her academic work, Carol co-authored Australia’s People’s Food Plan, and co-produced a fair food documentary whilst serving as the Vice-President of the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance.

Tomorrow is the Landcare Australia national conference in Brisbane and today we had a lovely visit from some of the delegates who are touring some of Brisbane’s urban farms.
